1. Star Talent Palmer Available for Important London Clash with The Gunners

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stated on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is available for selection for the squad's important top-flight encounter against London rivals Arsenal.

The 23-year-old England midfielder was unavailable due to a broken toe suffered after an unfortunate incident.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca declared. “The whole team is delighted.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has been limited to four outings in all tournaments, netting two goals.

After joining from City in 2023, he has achieved 45 strikes and 29 setups in 101 games for the London club.

“He is our best player, we are happy he is back, we need to allow him time to be 100% fit,” Maresca continued. “His past performances have been excellent and no doubt he is going to do great things for this club in the future.”

The Merseyside club were unsuccessful in their appeal against Idrissa Gueye's dismissal for a physical confrontation with fellow player Michael Keane during the team's narrow win at Manchester United.

Gueye quickly said sorry, and the teammates were seen reconciled later in a light-hearted online post.

However, the appeal against the dismissal was turned down, and Gueye must complete a three-match ban, leaving Everton shorthanded for their next match against Newcastle United.

“We challenged the decision and it was rejected,” manager David Moyes revealed. “No explanation was provided for the rejection but we did appeal it.”

Inquired about additional consequences from the event, Moyes remarked: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we progressed quite quickly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

West Ham will have available Lucas Paquetá after his ban, while Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are stepping up their return from injury.

Murillo was feeling his hamstring muscle after the 3-0 Europa League victory, but Dyche said the player “should be fine”.

Meanwhile, Ola Aina (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), Chris Wood (knee), and the defender (hip) are likely to miss out.

6. Glasner: Conference League Defeat Won't Hinder Crystal Palace

The Eagles head coach Oliver Glasner feels that the setback of midweek's Conference League loss to the French side is a sign of how far the club has come in competing on multiple fronts.
