Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's ten-match winning streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, but will the Premier League leaders recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against artificial intelligence, fans and a range of special visitors.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's new album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Soccer and Parenting Experiences
Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not force football on our kids but I've previously told my wife that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be fairly close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's sole on the road victory this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno was previously that team's coach.
So, what on earth do I predict here - can West Ham extending their run under their manager, or the home side bouncing back?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the season began, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their past four matches.
A family member advised me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the travel this season, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be quite tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
They have got lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing to do to support the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good results because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the sole side they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

It is a tough one to predict. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
