The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death started the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, striking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could help the team access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
